Undergarment Help

I have my first fitting this week and I'm driving myself crazy trying to find a bra. I have bigish boob (C-D) to begin with, but I have absolutely no cleavage. For some reason, the girls just don't want to come together. Any suggestions for a great undergarment that will give me lots of lift but not the extra padding? My dress has a sweetheart neckline.  I'm going CRAAAAZZYY! TIA for any help.

I recommend going to a lingerie shop that will fit you to the right bra. The two I've gone to are Lingerie by Susan in Edison or Sweetest Sin in Red Bank. Both are great and will get you the best fit which will make a huge difference!

Try the Dain Shoppe in Moristown.  I have a rather larger chest myself (D/DD) and they found something to tame the girls and make them look good.

try a longline/corset, which should help push them together if you want cleavage.  I got my longline from Lingere by Susan in Edison.

to add re the dain shop, they will let you borrow the bra(s) at no charge (they just take an imprint of your cc) for 14 days (I think) so you can take a few options to your fitting.

I have a D cup and surprisingly I was very happy with having cups put in for my first fitting.
Some bras they had provided me to try on cinched me weird at the waist and gave me muffin top where i didn't have any.  Maybe it's just me but I liked cups sewn in best.  Imagrl, you can ask if they can do that for your first fitting.

I would also suggest the Dain Shop, they are very helpful.

I am hard to fit also. I went to Lingerie by Susan and found a great fitting long line bra  and several everyday bras too. I do want to check the Dane shop out also as I've heard great things about it, but I've very happy with my purchase!
