I tried on a mermaid gown that I love but my fear is it will be too difficult to sit in and dance in. Any one have any experience with a mermaid gown????

This is my dress, it is a "trumpet" and I can move around fine.

Just make sure that the flare starts above your knees, not below.

I also got a fit and flair, which is a less exaggerated mermaid, and it feels wonderful in, and still gives you some movement.
