Wedding Bands

Hey everyone,

Let me just say that I accidently posted this on the international board, so if you've already seen it please don't be annoyed.

My fiance and I have started looking at wedding bands, but we've both been having a very hard time finding an all sapphire channel band/eternity band/any band with sapphires instead of diamonds. Do any of you ladies have recommandations for Jewelers in the area who may carry these kinds of band or can do custom orders that aren't too pricey (we're trying really hard to stay under 700)?

Not sure how you feel about ordering from the internet, but Blue Nile has a channel set band and an eternity band, both all in sapphire. Although I've never ordered from them myself, people on TK have posted many positive reviews about them.

I ordered my fiance's wedding band from myjewelrybox.com. I haven't received it yet but they have a 30 day return policy and good reviews online. It cost me $490 whereas Robbins brothers quoted me $850 for the same ring and another local shop quoted me $1400! Again, I haven't received it yet but I feel good about the customer service I've received so far.

Are you looking for a San Diego jeweler? The only jeweler I ever have worked with is Gary Gilmore in Ocean Beach (a neighborhood in San Diego). He was great to work with (he's done a few custom rings in my family). I'm not sure about prices since it's been awhile since I've needed anything.
