His parents hosting and mine are divorced. Wording questions

His parents are hosting and mine are divorced so I'm not sure what to do about the wording. I have:

Mr and mrs. john and jane smith
request the honour of your presence
to the mairrage of their son
Future Husband Smith
to
Future Bride Stevens
dauther of divorced mom clark
and mr. divorced dad Stevens

Should my name be first instead of his? If so, it sounds really odd if I try to include my parents, which I'd love to do so if possible.

Mr. and Mrs. future husband
request your presence
to the marriage of
Future Wife
daughter of divorced mom
and divorced dad
to their son
Future husband.

It doesn't work.

Any suggestions would be great!

If his parents are hosting you don't have to include your parents on the invitation at all.  You can do programs to be handed out at the ceremony for guests to follow the ceremony where you name/identify your parents.  I might do something like:

    Mr. and Mrs. groom'sparents
request the honor of your presence at the marriage of
    bride's full name
    and
    groom's full name
    yadda yadda yadda
Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
  • If your parents aren't hosting their names shouldn't be on the invite.  It should only be his parents.
