NQB- That grill is AWESOME. FI got it for our engagement present. We use it all the time, I think we are going to be making beer can chicken.
Ocean if you want to punch me, I will keep you away from my FMIL. They have lettuce, pumpkins, blackberries, asparagus, peppers, onions, tomatoes, corn, sunflowers, figs, zucchini and watermelon. They also live on 18 acres. They have three cows that I am trying to convince them to slaughter.

I'm going to be pretty vague with my answers since the kitchen isn't really my area of expertise - but I'm getting better. Also I definitely can't think of 20 things. So here goes...
Have category
1. I"m putting this Kitchen Aid in the "have" category even though it's not mine yet - someone has apparently purchased this off our registry. I'm not a big baker so I didn't want the stand mixer - also we have no room for it but I've recently lost our crappy hand mixer and now I can't mix without breaking my wrist.
2. We just got this yesterday! I've never used a rice cooker but we've been eating a lot of brown rice lately and it takes SO long to make. This would make life easier.
3. I LOVE our griddler. We were able to throw out our ugly plastic George Foreman grill and this thing can make anything - burgers, paninnins, etc.
4. My sister got me a waffle maker for Xmas. We've only used it a few times but waffles are so easy and yummy.
5. Our pot rack! I got this off our registry myself with a gift card. We have a small galley kitchen and shower gifts made storage a pain but it looks great and has totally organized us.
6. We got a digital slow cooker. It looks nice and it's fancy so I can donate my old crock pot and use this instead. I've never done it but apparently people actually wake up early and make dinner and then when they come home it's all ready. Oh to be that organized. It would be nice to come home to dinner!
7. Our knife set is awesome. Caphalon Contemporary.
Wishlist
1. Caphalon Contemporary Nonstick cookware - we haven't gotten any pots yet but we'll buy them off the registry ourselves eventually since all of our pots are scratched up. These are supposedly awesome but even after hearing an hour explanation of why I can't recall all the details. But they don't stick, yay!
2. Le Creuset 5 3/4-Quart Blue Covered Oval Dish - the only "stoneware" I have isn't a great shape for casseroles and some other things that I wouldn't need the slow cooker for. We registered for this - and look at that color! But it's not ours...yet. 3. Our flatware. Haven't gotten any yet. I consider it a mark of being a true grownup when you have nice matching silverware. Bonus: it's Vera Wang.
ETA: Oops I thought it said ten of each. Oh well, there's more have than want, I consider myself a lucky girl!

Oceana - I love those dishes! I like the cup shape. Cup shape is usually how I decide if I like I dish set or not. I'm definitely going to look at C&B. I think that's where my sister got hers and I love them too. They're white with the little raised dots around the edges.
Kat- I love that tea set! And I have that frothing pitcher.
Acro - I want a filled pancake pan too! I've never had one but the pictures look so good.
but my top 5 are: 1) My Kuerig (I have one for home and one for my office! They're so perfect and cuts down on all of the coffee I was wasting when I was brewing full pots before) 2) My Calphalon pots and pans (just got the set for Christmas and I told BF and roommate that if they ruin them they won't have balls) 3) My rubber spatula- just a plain red rubber spatula- I use it for all my cooking 4) My corkscrew 5) My knives
My wants: 1) A kitchenaid mixer (in red to match the rest of the kitchen) 2) A big hardwood cutting board- mine are all super small 3) A nice set of cookie sheets- I have 2 hand-me-downs that are scratched and burnt up from BF cooking and cutting frozen pizzas on them 4) A refridgerator that doesn't create huge puddles around the bottom of it three times a day (but that's really my landlords responsibility to take care of...) 5) A hanging pot rack. It breaks my heart to see my calphalon nestled inside of each other in the cupboard. My roommate just doesn't get why you can't nestle them

Oh I already KNOW how awesome it is. My parents had one. Kind of a pain to clean but the smoothies are soooo good. Even the veggies are pretty good if you juice and apple, strawberries of pineapple with them to sweeten them a little. Soooo good for you and an easy way to get in the daily recommended amounts of fruits and veggies!

These guys are small, but they're awesome. I use them a lot when we have company or I have a buffet spread out (the rectangulars are great for dipping sauces/oils for bread, the squares are great for any sort of sauces/butters/cheeses/etc. out on a table, and the tiny square ones are great for individual portions of dressing/sauce/cheese/butter/etc. at each plate). We like to entertain, so we use these bad boys all the time.

Someone at BB&B told me that if you don't have the space in your kitchen to avoid nestling, you can prevent scratches by either:
a) buying a rack to store them upright in inside your cabinet,
b) nestling them with a towel in between each pot/pan,
c) (for frying pans/skillets) use felt plate protectors between each pan.
Just some thoughts, as we have no space for a hanging pot rack in our kitchen (as much as I would salivate over one...

Okay, so I hate George Forman Grills and anything similar. If I want to grill something, I throw it on our BBQ. If I want to saute something, I put it on a pan. I HATE George Forman Grills!
My favorite things I have:
1. Ice cream maker - was the first gift BF got me, and we've gotten lots and lots of use out of it!
2. Rice cooker - when I lived in China, this was an essential part of daily life, so my Mom gave me one when I got home. She said it was the best $20 she ever spent.
3. Cast iron skillet - for making my grandma's recipe for Irish Soda Bread!
4. Wok - again, invaluable! It's a great way to throw together some items to make a delicious dinner.
5. Badia Complete Seasoning - this is a spice that I found in Miami that's really popular with the Cuban community here. It's incredible! You can put it on anything - Mexican, Italian, whatever. I've gone through a container as big as a soda bottle in less than 5 months, and that size container costs only $2.50!

Sounds fun to me! Mmm California Pizza Kitchen. I've never been to Legal Seafood but I've heard it's delicious.
I've seen that Badia seasoning at Penn Dutch and wondered what it was...I might have to try that...
Speaking of which, if you're ever in our neck of the woods, check out Penn Dutch (Hollywood). It looks like a hole, but it has super cheap produce and meats, and everything we've gotten there has been super flavorful and really delicious.

My Blog
Kat- I love that tea set! And I have that frothing pitcher.
Acro - I want a filled pancake pan too! I've never had one but the pictures look so good.
but my top 5 are:
1) My Kuerig (I have one for home and one for my office! They're so perfect and cuts down on all of the coffee I was wasting when I was brewing full pots before)
2) My Calphalon pots and pans (just got the set for Christmas and I told BF and roommate that if they ruin them they won't have balls)
3) My rubber spatula- just a plain red rubber spatula- I use it for all my cooking
4) My corkscrew
5) My knives
My wants:
1) A kitchenaid mixer (in red to match the rest of the kitchen)
2) A big hardwood cutting board- mine are all super small
3) A nice set of cookie sheets- I have 2 hand-me-downs that are scratched and burnt up from BF cooking and cutting frozen pizzas on them
4) A refridgerator that doesn't create huge puddles around the bottom of it three times a day (but that's really my landlords responsibility to take care of...)
5) A hanging pot rack. It breaks my heart to see my calphalon nestled inside of each other in the cupboard. My roommate just doesn't get why you can't nestle them
[QUOTE]Dwest - we just got the Jack Lalane juicer - I'll let you know once we open it up!

This made me cringe a little - I had to explain to DH about not nestling them too. Luckily I have a cabinet big enough that they all fit without nestling them

He's already had to replace my dutch oven because he mashed potatoes in it. I seriously think he's just dense... it's starting to sink in a bit though

Ours are stored all spread out, but I didn't know there was a reason for this <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-embarassed.gif" border="0" alt="Embarassed" title="Embarassed" />
What is the reason?

The insides can get really scratched up and void the warranty on them- plus then the non-stick quality is ruined
[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Top 5 Wednesday - Kitchen Gear : There's one near me too! THey also have a HUGE sale every year (in the fall) at the Fourm here. It's AMAZING! I think I may have asked you this before but - where are you at?

I know there's a C&B Outlet at Sawgrass, and I'm pretty sure they carry the line we registered for, along with a bunch of other white lines. They also carry the best friggin serving dishes EVER (<a href="http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=4810&f=34741" target="_blank">HERE</a>):

These guys are small, but they're awesome. I use them a lot when we have company or I have a buffet spread out (the rectangulars are great for dipping sauces/oils for bread, the squares are great for any sort of sauces/butters/cheeses/etc. out on a table, and the tiny square ones are great for individual portions of dressing/sauce/cheese/butter/etc. at each plate). We like to entertain, so we use these bad boys all the time.
There's a regular C&B at Town Center in Boca Raton...maybe you, me and ricky need to make a date of it and go window shopping? They've got a Legal Seafood, Stir Crazy, <em>and </em>a California Pizza Kitchen there. ::drool::

Speaking of which, if you're ever in our neck of the woods, check out Penn Dutch (Hollywood). It looks like a hole, but it has super cheap produce and meats, and everything we've gotten there has been super flavorful and really delicious.
