  Make sure to bring a digital camera! Some places won't let you use it (sometimes if the lighting is good you can turn off the flash & use in the dressing rm!) but it will help you keep track of the dresses later. Plus if you find "the dress" you can get those "AWWW" moment pics! Also clips or something to get your hair up in case you get hot, or want to try different looks. HTH and post pics if you find something.  GL!

  I agree with the open attitude. Try to keep in mind that how a dress looks on the hanger does not properly show you how it will look on you... some dresses hang horribly but wear gorgeous

  Be careful with the cameras, you don't want to get in big trouble with the store.
  
  I second the hair tie/clip.  If you plan on having your hair up for the big day it will help you get a better idea of the whole look.
  
  An open mind!  I KNEW I wanted an all lace A-line gown....yeah, I fell in love with a satin ballgown with beading under the bust.  It's perfect, just not what I thought was for me.  Have fun!!
  
  Oh, and your check book (or a credit card if you're comfortable with that)...if you find the dress most dress stores require a deposit (mine was 50%).
