  I am in the same situation-- looking for inexpensive makeup application for myself & BM's.. Hair too.. Makeup app for under $75 each if at all possible. Any suggestions?

  I had a trial done by a girl at the MAC counter at Macy's. They book appointments when you make a minimum purchase of $50 that day. You could also ask if any of the people who work at the counter will travel to your house, but usually that is a bit more.

  I went to a kiosk at Macy's as well (Clinique) and the lady was nice and did my make-up. At the end, she offered to do my makeup for my wedding for free! I don't think I'll go with her because their make-up isn't my favorite- but it definitely opened my eyes to possibilities!
  
  Just a rant... why are trials so expensive!?! That basically doubles the price!
