two questions...

Ok I have two questions completely unrelated. One, does anyone have any suggestions for outdoor wedding venues and reception venues in the Dayton area? I know of a few but wanted a few options. Also, I have two very close friends, one from high school one from college that I would like to have be my maid of honor... Would it be to chaotic to have two maids of honor? Or would people think that it's tacky?

I'm no help on the venues in Dayton, but I wanted to tell you that you can absolutely have 2 MOH's.  No one will find it tacky.

For your first question, I have nothing to offer. Sorry! :) As for the MOHs-- I am having two b/c I simply could not decide between my 2 closest friends.  I was the MOH for each of their weddings, and I am SO glad we went this direction.  Also, it allowed FI to not only honor his only brother, but his best friend/roommate of 9 years.  An added bonus-- one of my MOHs is handling a shower, the other is handling the Bachelorette party-- therefore neither one is overwhelmed with pulling double-duty.  Oh, and I almost forgot-- I was the MOH for one of my friend's wedding, and there were 2 MOHs for that ceremony as well, and no one mentioned it.  I think if it fits YOU and YOUR FI, go with it.

I also am no help with the Dayton venues...For my wedding, I had two maids of honor... well actually, a maid of honor and a matron of honor (since she was married).  Same things... a best friend from high school and a best friend from college.  They were both extremely honored to be in the wedding, as was I to have them stand by me!

As for Dayton venues... Willowtree Inn www.willowtree1830.com (my personal fav, since my wedding is there) (Tipp City) Cox Arboretum (Centerville)Polen Farm (Kettering)Benham Grove (Centerville)Smith Gardens (near Oakwood)Cooper Farm (West Milton/Ludlow Falls)As far as 2 MOH, I agree with all PP. I was in my friend's wedding and she had me and another friend as co-MOHs. I think its perfectly acceptable, plus its your wedding, do what you want! :) HTH

Ditto on all of the previous mentioned Dayton venues.  Personally, I LOVE Polen Farm, which is where I'm getting married. :) Like all pp, I don't think it's tacky to have two MOH.  If you have to amazing people that you couldn't pick between, go for it.  There is nothing wrong with that.
