What is a reasonable price for bridesmaids dresses?

Hi All,I am trying to choose a large selection of gowns for my BMs to choose from. My initial thought was to keep all choices under $200 and then let them choose by a process of elimination. Does everyone think that that is a reasonable cost for a dress? A lot of friends are getting married next year as well, and I dont want my wedding to be prohibitively expensive for anyone. Also, has anyone used houseofbrides.com - they have Watters and Wtoo BM dresses for great wholesale prices. I would love to have the girls go try on some Watters dresses at a shop to figure out sizes and then we can order them on the site, its the same thing that the shop does right ( except they order from the company.) THen the girls can have them fitted by a tailor local to them, and hopefully save some $$ in the process.

I went to bridal garden with my moh.  She picked out jasmine bridal b2 bridesmaid dress.  It was around $150 and the plus size girl is treated real well by b2.  They took her measurements and after discussing with the seamstress at bridal garden and b2 company, they will do a chest alteration so that the shoulder straps fit better.  So her's cost more, around $170.  I kept emailing b2 with questions and they respond really quick!
