    I'm at 80 days today, it seems like I just hit 100 last week.  I hope that the rest pass just as quickly. I also mailed my invites yesterday! I can't wait to start getting the RSVPs back : D

    I got the caterer we wanted to come down a few hundred dollars on the proposal, it's still a teeny bit over budget but I think we'll go for it.  I can't wait to sign the contract so I can have fabulous items like watermelon gazpacho, tuna tar tar, and truffled mashed potatoes at the wedding!

    My wedding AW is that the invitations turned out fabulous and are ordered, and my guestbook from Blurb also turned out great (PIB of both).  Menu tasting is tomorrow!  Now it's on to the ceremony and programs.  I can't believe how fast things are going now.

    I just realized that I am at the 100 day mark till the wedding.  Yikes!  I feel like I don't have enough time.....I stayed at the office till 9pm last night working on stuff.  Argh, so much to do and I am about to delegate some duties!

    Interviews! Jay has gotten interviews to two Texas med schools and the first one is tomorrow! And I have two interviews coming up as well!I sincerely hope the interview fairy pays a visit to all of the ladies on here still looking :)

    I have a few AW's - the invites to my first wedding shower were mailed out this morning!!! We finished all of our water bottle favors and "hugs and kisses" favors, ribbon on bubbles, and invitations last weekend and I have updated my bio! Flower girl dresses are in, now they just need to be altered.  I am at 85 days!!!

    My AW may backfire on me but we'll see....I'm sending Bill's grandmother a birthday card, some wedding pictures and one of our Aggie engagement pictures.  I'm pretty sure that none of the other grandkids send a card but I'm worried that my MIL might not send a card either (she might call).  See either I might score some brownie points with MIL or I lose whatever ground Bill thinks I might have made.  Oh, well, I feel good sending one to her.  I'm also sending some wedding pictures to her sisters and their friends.

    I took my mom to Big Lots yesterday, with no intention of shopping for myself, but I saw a set of square plates/bowl/and cups that Joe and I have been wanting...they're black on the bottom and red on top and on the inside of the cups...40 bucks, but when the cashier rung them up they were only $24!!! SCORE!!!

    We are 72 days away! Our invitations will be ready for pick up this weekend and they will be mailed next week, I know this is early but 95% of our guest are OOT. Steve's wedding present is I am booking a cigar roller for our cocktail hour! I'm so excited about this.

    i passed(Barely haha) my research paper and have gotten 20 birdseed packets done and all the ribbon is cut to tie(thanks to FMIL!)still waiting on test results...Lit class ends TUESDAY after the test woohoo!!!! can't wait for my life back hehe so my house can consume it :(

    Marissa,If I sent a card to my MIL's mother but she didn't AND it gets commented that we sent a card during a phone call, my ILs are the type of people who would hold that against me.  Even though they didn't want us to get married, they got mad when they weren't included in the planning of the wedding.  Yes, they are....well, I can't think of anything nice so I'm just going to keep it to myself.  :-)

    Julie, If you plan on having kids, I bet that all will change once they come into the picture. My grandmother is the MIL from hell and was horrible to my mother when my parents first got married. (she still is weird) 5 kids, 24 years, and a new daughter-in-law (my uncle's wife) who wont put up with crap later, my mother is gold to her. Funny how things change.     Marissa,I'll take a look at that.  A lot of my friends and Bill and my mom all think things will change if there are any children.  However, that just seems so fake to me and a poor reason to finally accept someone.  I told Bill it might be too late by then.This year, we're planning to spend Thanksgiving with his family and Christmas with mine (reverse from last year).  They won't make a decision so that we can start buying tickets, etc.  Bill thinks they might be delaying to see if they can blackmail us into Christmas.  I told him that we didn't spend but one day with my family during the holidays (New Year's Day) and that it's not fair that we spend time in Baton Rouge during Christmas.  They've been so unbending on things that I don't feel like being very generous at this point.  Of course, I usually end up giving in.  I know I did last year when I ended up spending 8 incredibly awkward days down there for Christmas, gettting recycled gifts to share with Bill.  Seriously.  His parents did not give me a gift of my own.  I got two sets of coasters and a cookbook (that I'm pretty sure was hers) to share with Bill.

    I ordered my bridesmaids bags last night and their bracelets that were on sale from $25 to $10! This wedding planning is fun again!

    Marissa, I think you may be on to something with that interview fairy! FI has an interview right at this very moment, and yesterday my boss got an email from a potential employer wanting a reference for me! It seems like things may finally be turning around for FI and me, but I feel like I need to hold my breath so I don't jinx it!

    Lindsay- Like everyone said, your dress is gorgeous, but more importantly, you look so happy in it!Oh, and my wedding-related AW is that we're going to see our absolute favorite venue tomorrow!! If I like it as much in person as I do at this point, I will be ready to sign on the dotted line!
