I saw this at Bed Bath Beyond and Sam's Club - I think 29.99 or something around that

You might also want to try Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls.  Probably even Stein's and Tuesday Morning.

I got mine at Sam's club and I love it. I can't remember the price. Also I saw some at Stein Mart a couple of weeks ago.

OMG ladies --- thank each of you for the tips on where to go hunt for these...I'm on a mission, as you can tell, and so I hope to be able to find them at the locations you've suggested...thx a bunch!  :D

Hobby Lobby, but I always wonder about their stuff because half of it says "Not for food use" on it (and this is stuff like cakestands, etc.)

Marissa I know! I think it has to do with the lead in the glass or in the making of the stuff. I know my mom bought dishes once somewhere that were gorgeous and "imported" but she got a lead test kit (not sure where?) and they came up with lead in them or on them.I have been wanting one of these too for when we move into a house and found this site:glassbeveragedispenser dot comThey have a lot of different styles and sizes and prices!

Yeah, I worry about anything made in China now It bugs me when it is stuff like candy dishes, etc. though. I mean, what else would you use it for?

I am s o glad that I am not the only one that worries about anything made in China! I look at everything now for food, etc If it says China on it I don't get it.After that thing with the melamine in the food and the pet food horribleness. A friend of mine's cat died from that. It was awful.Something like 50 percent of our apple juice here is from China. Really crazy.

I would try Walmart. They have cute dishes and jars, etc.
