Hair/Makeup Recs

Hi All,I'm Leigh. My wedding is south of Pittsburgh in my hometown on October 24th. Its very nice to meet everyone.

My apologies for duplication, of course. I live in DC so I haven't been on this board much except for lurking. I would LOVE to get your hair and make-up vendor recommendations. Here are things that are important to me:1. I am getting temporary hair extensions. If you know of any particular hair dressers with expertise in this. 2. I would like them to travel to my home which is about 25 miles from Pittsburgh proper. 3. It would be great to have one person do both hair and make-up if at all possible!Thanks for your help! I also recommend Monica Kitta for hair. However, i know we already have several Oct 24 brides so I'm not sure if she is already booked.

I think it is tough to find someone in the Pgh area that will do both and travel. Clare from Ciel Cosmetics for makeup is fabulous!

Heather from Pretty is good. We used to work in a salon together. I know a bunch of stylist most of which are north of the city but I know of a couple that do travel. if you want to send me your email I can forward you some of there info and you can check them out.elishabowling at hot mail dot com

I know that people may recommend Brooke Rockwell but she'll be tied with with me and Knottie Snorge that day. I would give Izzau (downtown) a call, I know that have a bunch of stylist and makeup artists on staff. Or try La Pomponee in the South Hills. GL
