  We are doing a joint dance to Rascal Flats "My Wish". It works perfectly for both and isn't too sappy.

  Regina Belle's If I Could - the lyrics are a message from a parent to a child. So it would fit for both father/daughter and mother/son.  Stand By Me and My Girl would work too
