Wedding Bands: Does anyone else feel really guilty for not spending a lot?

I need to get my fiance his wedding band, but everything he likes is in the price range of 50-100 dollars. Now, I feel really guilty because he spent 2300 dollars on my rings, and here I am about to spend 50! Does anyone else feel like this is a tad bit unbalanced, or am I just nuts!I prolly will get him the 50 dollar ring, as we are broke right now. Doesn't mean I won't feel a tad guilty about it though!

I think if its what he likes then you should't feel guilty. My husbands ring was less than 200 a lot less than mine and I don't feel guilty cause I got him exactly what he wanted =)

It's not your fault, it's the industry. DH's ring was less than mine, but he loves it and wears it all the time. That's all that matters. I remember feeling that way though and I did buy him a nice TAG watch for his bday to kind of balance it out :)

I'm actually going to buy my fi a Tag watch and have my father give it to him when he is getting ready on our wedding day.  I will have it engraved with our wedding date on it as well.  This hopefully will balance it out a bit and it is a Wonderful gesture as well.  I think it will make him feel special too and I khnow his BOYS will make a big deal about it :-)

My FI wedding band was actually the same as my band but I still feel guilty that he spent all the money on the e-ring. He too wants a nice watch so I'm going to get that for him as a wedding present.

I really like the watch idea, that would probably make me feel a bit less guilty haha. What exactly is a TAG watch, I haven't heard of it (I've heard of brands like Citizen, Bulova, ect).

Nilla:  TAG (TAG Heuer) is a brand that is medium to high-end $.  As Fi describes it, "classic but sporty."   They are REALLY nice and super cool.  You can google it and find them lots of places as well as in stores.  I know amazon had some good ones.  HTH

OMG!  I am not alone!  My FI picked out a Carbonate ring that was $35!  I told him that I at least wanted to get him a precious metal, so we kept looking.  We finally found one he liked even more, but it was still only $250!

I wanted to get my DH a platinum ring, but he wanted a $200.00 ring..I felt guilty and kept pushing him to get something more expensive in the end he found a ring at icing on the ring for $150.00...He is not a bling kind of person, he wanted something simple and light. I am okay with his decision, because I know he got the ring he was comfortable wearing.

My FI wants a Citizen. They make some special watch for scuba divers that he's been drooling over.

I think all fi's rings will always cost less than our rings. It's not our fault we get 2 rings! haha. Yeah, I don't think you should feel guilty at all. Also, I think they expect their bands to be less than ours.

So we ended up getting an ArtCarved Tungsten band, for 400 bucks! Thank god it wasn't 50, I am still considering getting him a watch, I'll have to look into the Tag watches, I was already considering citizen. I'm just glad the ring didn't cost pocket change haha!
