Luggage Tags

For you ladies that have done or are doing luggage tags.. I have been looking for the clear plastic casing, but all the ones I find are the kind that seal up.. Did you make each one personalized for the guest or did you leave the back of the card blank for name/add/phone? Any ideas on what/where to order clear luggage tags would be a great help! TIA

Re: Luggage Tags

  • I was originally going to do the flip flop ones (I think Michael's has them for a $1) and there was a website that had them too- if you want me to find it for you, email me, drm 6285 @ yahoo dot com I ended up making the premium business cards on Vista Print (250 for free plus shipping) and I found non laminating luggage tags on Ebay (meaning the business cards will slid right into them and come out so that my guests can fill out their own info).  I didn't want to be responsible for filling out everyone's info, and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on the luggage tags since we are putting a lot of stuff in the OOT bags.  I don't have pics in my bio yet of these, but if you want to see them, email me and I'll get you some pics!
  • I think you can also buy the plastic sleeves Danielle was talking about at Staples in the laminating section... I considered doing these also, but changed my mind so I am not TOO much help!
  • I got the ones that seal. I'm gonna print them with just the name of the person traveling. I didn't wanna put any other personal information in there, just in case.
  • Oh...And I got mine at staples they are 25 for like $12. They are hot laminating, but I research and I can do it with my iron and a cotton shirt/cloth.
  • I made laminated ones with the sealing kind and personalized business cards from VP-but that was for their welcome bags.  For them personally I bought the flip flip ones..and am considering sending them in the mail to those that RSVP yes with a nice welcome note!  I guess it depends on who all RSVP's!  :)
  • Thanks ladies! At this time we have 52 people booked for our wedding cruise, so I am going the lazy/cheap route for sure.. I am going to do the free postcards for VP and just leave the back blank. I plan on sending these out with a welcome packet the same week we send out invites to the AHR.
