I don't have anything to do today and thought about making a trip out to The Sale Place today, but was wondering is it worth a trip just to check it out?
While I do agree with Stephie about some of the stuff being out dated, I still think it's worth the drive. We bought ribbon there for a very good price, some bells to use, and a cake topper that I used on our table instead. They also have lots of invitation stationary, guest books, etc. I say go. Even if you don't buy anything, it can still give you some ideas.
I don't remember seeing vases there. I got ours at Hobby Lobby and Garden Ridge. Also, Super Walmart had some nice, inexpensive ones by their florals. Like $4 and $5.
I'm going to the Sale Place this weekend to look at their silk flowers. They have a ton of things to look at and if nothing else it will give you ideas.
If you go all the way out to the Saleplace, you can go into Mesquite and hit Michael's, TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby, Garden Ridge, etc. Although the Mesquite Garden Ridge is terrible, they probably have vases.
The Sale Place does have tons of vases and glassware, its in the back of the store, not in the main area. I got 12 milkshake glasses I'm using for centerpieces, for $2.50 each there.
I am not a big fan of the sales place, unless I am doing an event for a high school or some "spirit" type of thing. But if you are anything like me, you will wonder what you might be "missing" if you do not go. If you are just looking for something to do and do not mind the drive....just go. Who knows, maybe you will find something you can use. Tiff
i agree with all the pp's...it's very cheap and outdated....if you don't have anything to do, you may just want to drive out there bc you just may come across something
Well, I just got back and it wasn't really worth the drive. All the stuff they had I could have found at Michael's and then used a coupon. It was a good thing to do so that now I won't wonder what I might be missing out on!
