My power is out. Again. Of course it's my day off. I gave DH the car because he needed it to run an 'errand' (really to buy my b-day present). The only reason I'm knotting right now is because of my power generator. But I'm not sure how long it will last.Pray that power comes back on quickly. It's getting hot and I'm losing battery power.

My Monday is just weird.I forgot deoderant, but had some at work. I put a granola bar in my purse, but now it isn't there so apparently I didn't put it in my purse.I also have to go to the dentist at 12:05. Ugh. Even though I floss and brush and all that good junk, I still don't like the dentist.I have also decided I hate my expensive salon shampoo.

I feel like I am about to throw up. We're leaving for the bar exam on Tuesday and Wednesday in a few hours. There is so much I don't know but I don't have the mental capacity to shove anything else in my brain.Glad your power came back on!

I'm having kind of a cranky Monday. Found out our RD restaurant double booked us, and we were the last one, so we got bumped. Yippee. Now I'm trying to find somewhere that will take 50 people on the most popular wedding weekend of the fall (on 2 months notice). It's not exactly a fun job for me. One good thing though is that I was able to rent a space for the day after brunch and not host all those people in my house. My life is defined in terms of wedding issues. I want to beat myself.

Considering that I found out yesterday that my fuckingstupid ex-husband has no job (he quit a perfectly good job in GA and moved to TX, with no job) and most probably won't be able to keep up with his child support payments, and I was supposed to go to work this morning but today is our first of 3 furlough days before the end of the calendar year, I'll let you guys judge what kind of Monday I'm having.

My Monday morning was fine, but I slept funny last night and my neck is really sore. I blame it on FI finding a scorpion in the bathroom before I went to bed. Gave me the heebi jeebies all night. I have this weird thing with my throat lately where it seems to be swollen and closed up. It just started a couple of days ago and I can't figure out what it's about. It's annoying.

I rarely have a "good" Monday morning. It usually takes me the better part of the day to even wake up and acclimate to the work week. This morning is the same as usual. I'm a little drowsy, but will slowly work my way into awake during my lunch errands.

Being as I just woke up an hour ago, going well so far I guess. I can hear thunder from a storm that's just barely north of us; pisses me off because we have missed all the good thunderstorms this year. Have to run a few errands, but that's about it. I really should get some resumes out.

On a high note, I am getting sushi for lunch, and the sun is out for onceI love sushi. Apparently we are going for some on my b-day. Sadly it's not at my favorite place (DH's restaurant). I do not have the heart to tell him I'm not fond of the place we are going (it's not bad, it's just not as good as his place). He's not much of a planner so it would really brust his bubble if I told him I was not happy with the plan.

I'm having a pretty shiity Monday morning. I spent the end of last week up in ND trying to get stuff figured out with me withdrawing from my summer classes and talked to a bunch of different people, all who told me different things. Then I called this morning to make sure my forms got where they were supposed to (the last committee that meets before the end of class), and of course they didn't. I couldn't help it, I gave the person I was talking to quite a large piece of my mind. And once this is all figured out, I will be giving the director of my program, the dean of the grad school, and the president of the university ALL a piece of my mind.

I drove from home back to my apartment at school last night, and forgot my iPod, which is my method of survival in my art class. So that sucks. I got in so late last night, I guess I was too tired to wake up, so I missed class today. So that sucks too. Then I remembered that my mom bought me groceries by surprise last night, and sent me back with an ice chest full of cold things. I forgot to put them up last night, but I will say that they were still cold when I put them up this morning. Had it been the other way, I would have been mad, since I don't want to buy groceries since my mom was so kind to buy them for me. Fine, my problems in life are lame at this point.

Eh, it could be better but had a great weekend! My best friend since pre-school called and got engaged Saturday. She asked me to be her maid of honor so I'm beyond excited about all of that! We drank a tad too much Sat. night and slept most of Sunday so I couldn't sleep for shiit last night. I'm hitting the library after work and going to the lake tonight so that's getting me through the day ok.

My Monday has been crappy so far. I couldn't sleep last night and probably only got about 3 hours in. I almost fell asleep on my way into work on my 50 minute drive. And, now that I'm at work, I have no motivation even though I have a shiitload to do since my coworker is on holidays. Oh, and my right ear is throbbing and it hurts terribly. I can understand why babies/kids just wanna cry when they have ear aches.

I'm having a shitastic Monday morning, but I think most of it is because of my mood. I'm exasperated over this stupid wedding, and I want to elope. And I'm sick of people not taking me seriously when I say that. Not every girl on earth wants a wedding day. I'm one of them. I'm also exhausted over work, and Friday is D-DAY for this huge project, and I just want it over. I honestly sat here for a minute this morning and imagined the exact ramifications of dousing the ginormous pile of collateral in my office with hairspray and lighting a match before walking out of here and driving to the beach for the day.

Bec, at my job last summer, I had a moment of the exact same feeling. Except I went so far as to go into my boss's office, give her my key card and tell her I wasn't ever coming back. She talked me out of it though ;)You can do it!And Dudley, it's not nice to have a good Monday and not share with the rest of the class. But good luck with the job!

A little of both. I had to be up at 3:45 to drive over an hour to the next city over's airport after a long and tiring shower yesterday (woo!), and it was a rough drive.I spent most of my morning sleeping on planes or just being a biitch in general.Now things are lovely, I'm in my hotel room with nothing to do 'til 9am

A good one. The dealership fixed some things in my car for free (they didn't have to) and FI bought us a puppy over the weekend and I'm really excited about her. She's cute.
