Chuppah with quilt squares from family?

Has anyone done this?  My mom is trying to design it, and we love the idea but want to refine it a little more.  Our family is very arty so we were thinking about choosing a color or two and having them do their thing with whatever art form they want on a square. Any thoughts?

    I think it sounds like a wonderful and very personal touch!  I love the idea of having your family members create a square for the quilt.

    A friend of mine did this through a company called www.huppahquilt.com/order.phpShe loved it, and I think it's hanging on a wall at her home.

    My parents were invited to a wedding where they did the squares.  They mailed  squares to people important in their lives and told them to decorate however they want. It seemed like a great idea.
