Mcfadden Music DJs

Holy Moly... Just got home from my second wedding of the evening.... (I know, I'll have my turn soon enough) and the DJ at the second one was AWESOME! I have to admit, I felt like I was shopping for a DJ tonight because I was being super critical of the music and insisted on getting their cards before I left.... At the second wedding, they had a DJ with Mcfadden Music DJs. The company, I'm guessing, is owned by Mark Mcfadden (can't remember which radio station, but I"m thinking Q102) and I'm not sure if this was actually him or not but this guy was incredible. He was mixing the best music and did a great job keeping the dance floor packed. Has anyone ever used them before or have any comments on them?? Time is ticking and I have yet to book a DJ... :)

I don't know anyone personally who has used them, but I have Mark McFadden booked for our wedding and heard he was really good through the knot. You are also correct... he's on Q102 sometimes ;)

Mark Mcfadden DJ's are great.  I don't know how their prices are or what your budget is, but if you can book them!

Mark McFadden used to DJ down at Tropicana on Lady's nights (I believe that was Wednesday nights) and he was always good. I say, if you went to a wedding that he dj'd and you loved it, then I would assume he would be just as good for your wedding. I would book him. HTH!

Mark is a good dj.  I have been to several weddings that he has done.  I don't know about his other djs though.  You will pay more for Mark, though.  If we weren't using Quality Sounds, Mark would be my second choice.

I'm not a huge fan of Mark McFadden. He dj'd my wedding in May and when we arrived at the reception site, he didn't even know what songs we were supposed to walk in to. My husband and I spent a lot of time picking out songs for our "must play" list and less than half of the songs were played. He took a playlist from a previous wedding that had a couple of songs we picked out and used that instead of taking the time to make a new one with our songs.
I emailed him about this issue and he basically told me it was our fault because the night was running a little behind. Well, a bunch of music was played throughout the night that we did not pick out, so instead of wasting time playing those songs you would think he would try even harder to stick to the playlist we had so that most of the songs were played.
Needless to say I think he is arrogant and incompetent and would not recommend him. He was also at least 15 minutes late every time we had to meet with him prior to our wedding.
