RE: Bridesmaids Gifts

Hey Everyone- So I am having some trouble with my bridesmaids gifts. I wanted to get them a gift basket with fun stuff for the wedding day plus a little extra. I was going to fill it with red nail polish (my colors are red, black and white), some re hair clips for their hair, a bridesmaid tank top to wear the day of, some earrings with red or black in them and a picture frame with a picture of me and the bridesmaid in it. Now I am considering another option. This hard from Tiffany's:http://www.tiffany.com/shopping/Item.aspx?fromGrid=1&sku=25160533&mcat=148204&cid=288216&search_params=s+2-p+1-c+288216-r+-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+Every girl wants something from Tiffanys and it would suit everyone's taste. I really think they would all love it but with 5 bridesmaids I can't afford to get them the charm and the necklace to go with it. Would be be bad if I just got the charm or should a chain be included as well?

Re: RE: Bridesmaids Gifts

  • Are you asking us if you should get the bucket AND the tiffany's stuff? Or if you dropped the basket would you be able to afford the whole Tiffany package?Personally, I don't like the bucket idea. Everything in it is for your wedding....they will never wear the shirt ever again. it'll become a dish rag.

  • I would replace the basket of gift idea for the Tiffany's charm and maybe a necklace but I can't afford both from Tiffanys.
  • I would say go for the charm. Then buy them either a cheaper chain or put it on a cute piece of satin ribbon.

  • LOVE the satin ribbon idea. DO THAT! They can always add the chain later. :)

  • Agreed, cut the basket and give them stuff they can actually use after your wedding. If they will all love the charm, awesome. If not, think of something else. I'm not sure whether you meant that all YOUR girls love Tiffany's (in which case, go for it!), or if you said thaty all girls everywhere love Tiffany's. If it's the latter, realize that some people don't (I personally do not), so a Tiffany's gift isn't an automatic crowd-pleaser. I would personally rather get something worth $10 that I love and would use, than a $50 charm that'll sit in my jewelry box. I would appreciate the effort but I'd hate to see you waste your money on me.
