    Juliet, we almost used Then! DH really wanted it, but then we decided to use it for the Anniversary dance.Ours was "Lost in the Moment" by Big and Rich. (aka the wedding song of like 2005 haha).

    We were supposed to dance to "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison, but there was a mix-up and we ended up dancing to "Everything" by Michael Buble. Which wasn't my preference (obviously), but it worked out fine and is a song we both like

    Rod Stewart, "You're in My Heart" It's always been "our" song. Tara, I LOVE Michael Buble, but I would have been SO disappointed if they played the wrong song!  Good thing you didn't let it get to you.

    I really love "You Are the Best Thing" or "I Could Hold You in My Arms" - both by Ray LaMontagne.  The Man really likes John Cougar Mellencamp but I've not found a song worthy enough for the first dance so maybe I'll just play him a few times throughout the night to make him happy.If you didn't already know, I have the ability to talk too much!:-)

    I think we are using "Keep holding on" By Avril Lavigne. We spent most of our time doing the long distance thing so it is appropriate for us. We don't have 'a song' so it was really hard to pick. I used most of the alternate 1st dance songs for the music for my wedding video.

    I let my FI pick whatever song that makes him think of me. He picked Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Byrd. (talk about an old, cliche wedding song) I was not crazy about the song-I never told him that! i wanted something fresh for our song. However, a few weeks ago the song came on at work and as I was listening to the words to the song I broke down crying because it made me feel so amazing that he felt that way about me and to know that everytime he hears the song he thinks about me! I now wouldnt change our song for anything...Long story short maybe you should let FI pick :)

    We danced to "I run to You" by Lady Antebellum. We put together a fun mix of line dances and couples dances... everyone loved it :)

    jchapman330 - That song is GORGEOUS.  We dance to it all the time and it always makes me cry.  This would have been my second choice.  I hope to have it played during my reception so I can slow dance to it at some point.We're dancing to "I Love The Way You Love Me" by John Michael Montgomery....we never thought twice about it.
