Apparently, we are making progress. In [url=http://talk.theknot.com/boards/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=61540411&forumid=34]an otherwise frustrating experience registering at Home Depot today[/url], the one bright spot was the top of the registration form. In the old days, the form would have had one space for bride, and one for groom. Now, both spaces are marked, "Bride/Groom." And even in Virginia (not known for its progressive politics), they didn't turn a hair when both names were clearly brides.
