Candy Buffet!

Hi girls, I need help! I'm trying to show my mom what a candy buffet looks like because I think I want one... and I know I've seen some BEAUTIFULLY set up ones in pictures, but now I can't seem to find them. I'm googling it, but not alot is coming up. I dont care the colors, just anything really nice to show her. She thinks a lot of stuff now adays is just money making stuff that isn't needed, so I have to convince her of a lot of stuff. I want to show her how nice these can look so I have her approval! So if anyone has any pictures/inspirations or even your own could you post them or give me a link?!?! I prefer like unwrapped candies, not the ones of laffy taffys and whoppers and stuff in boxes. TIA!!

I googled candy buffet pictures and got tons of pictures. FWIW, I had a candy buffet and it was a big hit. It cost me about 700 dollars, so it was not cheap, but it was well worth it.

I';m beginning to think I fuckedup. I have 17 (!) canisters. How many guests did you all have? I budgeted $300 for the buffet, and I'm at $127 with about 1/2 the canisters filled with custom orange candies. The rest I'm filling via Target Halloween collection 2009...

I went apesh!t and had 13 containers. I had to have black and white candy that was NOT licorice, so that got pretty expensive.

ricks, why you gotta hate on licorice? It's bittersweet, just like love. Thank God almighty I'm doing orange in the fall. MUCH cheaper! As God is my witness, my guests will never be (candy) hungry again! sorry. GWTW has me all riled up.

I would need black and white (and pink) as well... about how much does this all cost? Do you order the candies online in bulk? Well I showed my mom a couple, and she said they look nice!! Hopefully that means she'll budget for some! She said she's never ever seen them and that it's rare for our area... but she's never seen a groom's cake or colored shoes or died crinoline or anything.... I guess I'm different from other brides around here!

I ordered and bought from Candywarehouse.com targetamazon.comohnuts.comwalmartSams or costco m&ms.com-expensive! and I bought candy from a local candy shopI also dipped oreos in white chocolate and milk chocolate. Those went fast and were the hit of the party.

Nicole, I'm not doing a candy buffet but we are doing candy favors and candy in our centerpieces. I discovered www.metrocandy.com in my search for rock candy today and they had really good prices.
