Cleaning and preserving

Where are you girls planning to take your gowns to be cleaned and preserved and how much does this typically run?

    I just took mine to Nichols' Hills Cleaners last week to have it cleaned before the wedding since it got dirty doing my bridals. They did an awesome job and are super nice. It depends on what your dress is made of (if it's silk) and how much detail or beading there is. They range from $130-$230. Mine's made of silk satin and cost me about $180 to have cleaned. She also told me if I take it back there to have it preserved, they'll take that amount off the cost of that, which typically runs around $400, so it would cost me about $200.
