Did any of you ladies consider a short dress for your wedding? What did you end up picking? Did you regret it, either way?

I'm really interested to hear about what everyone else is doing... I keep vacillating back and forth. I feel like a short dress better suits my personality (I have a pic of one in my bio), but our wedding is pretty formal and it seems like the "once in a lifetime" chance to wear the big, white dress.Do you know the full sn of abbalish so I can look her up?

I considered a short dress back when I was considering an outdoor wedding possibly at the beach. I think they look out of place at a formal wedding, but maybe you could find an inexpensive short dress to change into for the reception?

I'm considering tea length. I'm hoping for a beach wedding or an outdoor wedding and I plan on being barefoot for the ceramony and heels for the reception. It takes away all the hemming issues. I havent seen any nice tea length dresses online other than a kleinfeld's dress that I like too much though.

abbalish is her full name. :)Which one's were you thinking of?I think if you did something in a really high end fabric it would work. It doesn't need tons of bells and whistles, just... well made. That says quality more than anything else.

I know. I really wanted that photographer, but she was kind of rude to me when I asked her if she would work with me on the pricing. Ah well. It was a great looking wedding. I was sad that the knottie there never came back to post the full wedding photos.
