PSA: IDG Jewelers going out of business!!

...and I bought my FI's wedding band- a tungsten/titanium mix- for $66 at the Polaris location today! They're taking 60-80% off the entire store!

    Hmmm. That sounds a little suspicious. I got DH's band of the same metals at Jared's, full price, for $65. I've heard IDG has marked everythin up so much before the big "sale" that things really aren't that discounted.

    That's how liquidations work at any store.  The store doesn't do the liquidation, they hire an outside company.  The outside company marks things up, then puts up giant splashy banners screaming about all the deals and then they mark stuff down to about the normal price or slightly less.
