chicken on the grill...

Anyone have a good way they cook chicken on the grill other than using the same old boring spices?  I always make it the same way... TIA!

hmmm- I think my Dad marinates it in Italian dressing? And then sprinkles some sort of seasoning on afterwards.  I'm no help- but I just wanted to say yum! Chicken on the grill is one of my favs!

You could stuff it - with pretty much anything - just use string soaked in water to keep it together.I have a few marinades in my blog that are good as well.I also have Pesto chicken packets - chicken, zucchini, tomatos, onions (or whatever veggies you want), pesto all folded into aluminum foil.  That was pretty good.

If it's a whole chicken you can do the old beer can chicken.  If it's chicken breasts, you can put salt and pepper on them, marinade them in a white wine and lemon mixture...it's VERY yummy! Another thing to do with chicken on the grill is to just marinade it in Italian dressing, and keep basting it with Italian.Last, BBQ it. These are the ways we make it, hope it helps!

I loooove Newman's Own Herb and Garlic marinade.  It's like italian but much more flavorful.  Just marinate for a few hours and grill.  It's my favorite way to prepare chicken breasts.

Kens makes a balsamic and onion marinade that is really good.  I'm actually making chicken on the grill tonight too.  I put season salt, BBQ salt, and cajun seasoning on it and a dash of hot sauce.  Grill it and then serve it on a sandwich with tomato, lettuce and onion.  It tastes alot like the Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich w/o being deep fried (although I realize that's alot of sodium in the trade off).
