Results after 1 month

So folks, I just thought I'd share incase anyone wanted an idea of what kind of results are possible after 1 month.  I lost 5 pounds and 5 inches, -2 bust, -1.5 waist, -1.5 hips.  Though I try to stick to my schedule of 1500-1800 calories, some days I really go over.  Also, I try to get four runs, two kickboxing workouts and one SHRED workout in a week, I slack sometimes.  For me this is helpful to see, I've made changes, but I don't have to be radical.  If I miss a workout or have a piece a cake, I don't have to beat myself up.  I'm fine with slow steady loss since it means I don't have to sacrifice as much and that it's more likely to stay off.

    In the long run, a slow and steady loss without drastically changing your lifestyle is easier to sustain for a longer period of time, IMO. Youve probably lost more inches than that too, just from other areas. Ive lost 1.5" from my neck in the last 3 months - so weird!

  • Nice job! I was averaging 5 pounds down per month for the first 5 months, and now my average is closer to about 4 per month. Still good, but the last two months have been a lot slower. Good job measuring early on, I sure wish I had because I'd love to know how much I've lost in total inches...
