So the family was camping before she left and got in the accident? Sounds like alcohol and pot were both involved - I don't believe for a second that the husband didn't know she had been drinking/smoking and was incapable of driving, unless he was fuucked up too

I don't get why people care so much if their wedding photos will look outdated - at the end of the day you are still married and you have wonderful memories of the day itself that it won't matter how the photos look

I don't get how people suddenly change their opinions when someone dies. A 19 yr old girl crashed her car a died. Yes, she was young and 19, but I don't get the point about praising "how good of a person she was" when she was a partying drunken hoodlum. Only thing on my mind now, though I'm sure I'll think of more.

Off topic but I don't get why FI's parents won't just tell him how much they want to contribute for the rehearsal dinner. Instead they are having him get all the info from the possible locations for their review. Umm, FILs, how are we supposed to know which locations to look at if we don't know the budget we are trying to stay under?

I have the crappiest 2 weeks ever and decide to log on to see if anything can take my mind of things. Apparently, I shouldn't have read this thread. FWIW, I didnt know the Taconic driver. My SIL is good friends with the the mother of the 3 sisters killed (the drivers nieces). I knew them thru her and they helped with some of our shower goodies. Adorable kids, great family.The reports about alcohol and pot are not final. We are all wishing they are rumors and hoping the final results differ from early preliminary, nonconfirmed data. If they are true, its very uncharacteristic for her-from what I hear-and is an even bigger tragedy. Its even harder knowing what the family and my SIL are going thru, knowing more non realeased to the public details, on top of other issues going on now. I know people speculate and I admit I do to, I just wish the news would refrain from saying anything until final reports are out.

I don't get PR people and PR pitches that show they've done absolutely no research before bombarding my inbox. A poorly targeted PR pitch is more likely to result in me making fun of you and your line of hideous living room knick knacks than it is to get me to promote your product that anyone who had done 10 minutes of research would know I'd never be interested in.

I dont see how the police saying the blood alcohol level was .19% could possibly be false or speculation. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

I don't get why the Knot boards have to freeze up my browser EVERY time the ads change. It's so annoying!! I don't get alot of stuff that I have seen at weddings. I don't know why my family (not my parents) are making a big deal that I changed my religion. It's my choice and my life, DEAL WITH IT! I don't know why most people think that I've been dreaming of my wedding day since I was little. I never planned on getting married just to be "married". If I met the "one" (which I did), then I'd take the plunge, other than that, I would have been happy just being single. I don't get Twitter (seriously, who gives a crap) I don't get texting while driving I don't get why some wedding bouquets are freakishly huge

I don't get posters who only read the OP and then ask a question that's been asked and answered in subsequent posts. I REALLY don't get wedding dresses with colors (unless maybe a sash). I think it looks like a quincenera (prob spelled that wrong) dress.I don't get Twilight, Harry Potter, SYTYCD, I Love NY or Family Guy.I don't get why when I visit the dress shop and tell them what dresses I like they smile and then make me try on dresses I didn't pick because I HATE them!I don't get long nails on men or long toenails on ANYONE! yech!

I don't get dresses with pick-ups. To me, they look like a crumpled up blanket.I don't get people who smear the cake on each others faces. To me, that's not funny or cute, it's tacky and unclassy.I don't get why anyone would buy expensive shoes for the bridal gown when no one will see them (unless you're wearing a shorter dress)

Im saying people are holding onto hope that they are. Once the autopsy ruled out a medical reason (which as a medical professional,I was hoping would be found), I started to worry about the real cause. To add to speculations, maybe she was hungover/still drunk form the night before? that could explain the not crazy high BAL, and her feeling sick. Whatever the reason, its shiity and awful.

I also don't get canon in d. I am using it for the bridesmaids processional. I guess I have just never liked most wedding marches that the bride normally walks down to. Hence the reason that I am going to be walking down to "Past the Point of no Return" from Phantom of the Opera as an inside joke between FI and I.
