I don't get why my secretary's new favorite things is scheduling me for more hours than necessary in one day. I also don't understand why people feel the need to defend themselves when someone says they dont like what they are doing for their wedding, etc.

I don't get father/daughter dances. No, I don't want to slow dance with my dad. It feels weird. I don't get why some people think if you are thin, you aren't entitled to still have insecurities or worries about your body. WTF is that all about?I don't get the whole snowsweeite being fake drama, but I dont care either. I don't get why the news is still obsessing over Michael Jackson. He died. Oh well. Get over it and get back to reporting real news.

cocoreo- I havent been on here since last week. I have to have more tests next week. Maybe a biopsy, which I think wouldnt be so bad of an idea and I kinda want them to just do it. I'm trying to be a good patient though and let other doctors do what they know how to do.

I don't get why VS doesnt make some of their best bras in 34A. THIS. So annoying.I don't get why my half brother who has never been a real part of my life suddenly decides he really wants to be there for my wedding. You couldn't even visit me when I lived 3 hours away but you want to fly across the country to watch me go to the courthouse? I'll pass.I don't get having BMs match head to toe with jewelry, shoes and everything. It just looks super boring.

The list of what I don't get is too long to post in one day.a fewreality TV - didn't Midnight Cowboy give you enough reality to know that you don't have to pay to see pathetic?Survivor didn't "make" Elizabeth Hasselbeck, her husband, the QB made fame before her.I don't get twitter and probably MySpace as well. I have good friends because we call each other and talk about what we are doing and our problems. I do get IM for a quick hi, howareya though.WR: I don't get Gerber daisies, or calla lillies. The latter are for funerals only. Carnations remind me of my great grandfather's wake. Baby's breath sucks unless it is dried and hung with other dried flowers.I don't get David's Bridal. Probably because there wasn't one in NYC until a few months ago. I also don't get cheap BM dresses. Try good LBDs or go for something great that they will absolutely wear again. Pick up some of the cost so your BMs love you forever!I don't get cheap people. Ditto not getting sexy brides. I don't get these dancing cat signature pics. I also don't get why animals in signatures are somehow supposed to be cuter when the things they are saying are spelled wrong. Puppies are cute--they don't need to be saying "Iz," etc. I don't get e-pics or b-pics. I don't get why a lot of the girls on the Maggie Sottero website look like call girls.

I don`t get the fascination with various shades of white for the wedding gown. Why is it that the one (ahem) day of a woman`s life when she`s supposed to be celebrating joining her life with the man that she loves, she`s got to wear one of the least flattering colours available that is meant to symbolize something that it really no longer symbolizes. It holds zero meaning anymore. Howzabout we drop the fascination with it and let brides actually show their own personality and style?I don`t get wedding fads.I don`t get why my laptop keeps switching it`s character set.I don`t get women who wear bubblegum pink when they`re over 25 years old. It doesn`t make you look younger. It has the opposite effect. Especially when the bubblegum pink is in the form of a newsies cap. I don`t get diamonds, even conflict free ones. Overpriced and overmarketed. I don`t get tickers.I don`t get the idea that you need to be a "regular" to flame someone or participate in the discussion with respectI don`t get the fascination with being different, unique or outdoing other weddings. It isn`t a competition. It`s a ceremony with a lot of meaning and tradition around it and there`s a point when you needing to be different and get recognition for your uniqueness stomps all over the meaning of the day and makes me question what you really think a wedding is for.I don`t get reality TV, soaps, vampires or wizards. I certainly don`t get adults having ridiculous obsessions with this vampires to the point where Robert Pattison has become this overblown sex symbol for appearing in nothing more than a movie that`s garnered mixed reviews.I don`t get why so many people can`t put the "a" on the end of Gerbera daisies.

I don't get why people dye their crinoline. OK, maybe a faint powder blue, or some other light color. But red, deep purple, brown- that just seems really tacky to me. I also don't get candy buffets.

I don't get the attitude from some holier-than-thou brides that if you DO decide to adhere to some tradition and you're not having your wedding for $200 under a tree in a park with a department store dress and other quirky "I'm so unique and hip it hurts" details, you're a brainwashed sheep.AMEN!I don't get pictures with everyone in the bridal party jumping in the air.

I don't get animals being a part of a wedding. Whether it's doves, dogs, or horses I just don't get it. I get that people love their pets or want to make an impression, but they're animals people.What do you plan to do with the dog after he's done walking the rings down the aisle on his little collar? Someone has to watch him and take care of him, but as long as it's not you it's perfectly fine right? Besides.. animals are unpredictable sometimes, never know when the dog is going to see a bird and run off with the rings attached to him. Then it's chaos.Weddings are for people only. IMO at least.I also don't get people dressing animals in clothes
