Wedding Woes

S/O Guns

H is getting his c&c permit this weekend and he doesn't want people to know because he thinks they won't allow him to be around anymore. His two sisters...yeah.  I'm not sure I think he's wrong...which makes me more confused.

DH just applied for his lifetime one.  He wants me to have one as well.  I've never carried and don't plan to, but DH would rather be safe than sorry in the legal sense.

His sister once told him that she didn't think ANYONE should have a gun.

Oh and people know DH has one, but it's not like he flaunts it.  FIL and MIL have them as well.  ::shrugs::

IMO, people who think like your SIL are just as dangerous as the crazies who have an arsenal.  I trust the government, to a point, but not that far.

It's no one's business if I have a gun, in my home but it IS their business if they bring children over, or if I go to their place with a gun. Then again, if I owned a gun I'd be shot and killed before I ever got the safe open. Still, I'd like to know how to shoot, and to have a gun.

Someone once brought a gun to my home. I did not appreciate it. I asked them to not do that again. They were welcome at any time in my home, but their gun was not.
