...won a radio program contest this morning!  He's been calling in all summer trying to win on his way to summer school, haha.But the best news is that the prize was tickets to an advance screening of the Time Traveler's Wife!  WOOHOO!  :D

    Haha.  That's awesome! YAY for DH!  Did he have to answer a question or anything?  Or was he just lucky caller number 10 or something? :P

    It is one of my favorite books, so I hope the movie does it justice!  I'm really excited!  Yep, had to answer questions - you have to get as many or more right than the host...they both went 5 for 5.  Here they are:Patrick Ewing is 47 today. What sport did Patrick play professionally? It’s also Maureen McCormick’s birthday. Which Brady kid was she? What do you do with a Kindle? Which member of the Baltimore Ravens ended his retirement after 20 days on Sunday? North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il has pardoned two U.S. journalists who were jailed after straying over the Chinese/North Korean border. Name the movie in which Kim Jong-Il is portrayed in marionette form.

    I maybe would've known two of those answers.  What is a kindle?  I feel like I know this, I've definitely heard the word before, but can't think of what it is.

    oh!  thats so awesome! they are making a movie of 'time traveler's wife'?  I'm right in the middle of that book! well, almost finished and I can't wait till lunch to find out what happens!

    um- I dont know if I like the book or not.  It's written well, and is very interesting with the time changes and everything.  I'm just hoping he doesnt die.  And no- I didnt give anything away, since they tell you in the beginning that he does die. I havent been able to put it down tho- although I don't relaly think that constitutes it as a good book.  lol- I'll tell you what I think of it after lunch

    finished the book. Not a good ending IMO... I'm sure they'll change it for the movie though.

    Oh man, I LOVED the ending!  I thought it was fitting to the overall story - a tearjerker though!  I actually hope the movie ending is the same!
