photo booth

What are your opinions on this? I figure it's an easy thing not to do when cutting costs but I went to a wedding with one and loved it. It looks like they run about $1000. Is that right? Are you doing one? What are your thoughts?

Too expensive. Not sure it fits with my wedding though anyway. I've never been to a wedding where there was one, but people seem to love them. For me, I'd rather spend that $$ elsewhere, put people that have done them say they go over great.

I think it's a cute idea but we didn't have the money in the budget nor the space at the venue.

We used party-booths and loved it. We had a large open venue, and a pretty casual wedding. I also brought a bunch of hats and props for people to use. Everyone loved it. There was a line for it all night, and the scrapbook they made for us is wonderful! I have some pics from mine here at the very endhttp://picasaweb.google.com/davidandshannonswedding/WeddingPics#

I just got married last week and we had one. Yes it was a splurge, but in my opinion it was 100% worth it! People LOVED it and at the end you got a cd of all the pictures. We had such a blast going back and looking at everyone's pictures! You could tell everyone was having fun and that is how I want to remember the wedding. We did this instead of favors. Ours was about $1000 for 4 hours.

I'm doing one for my wedding in May. I know it's not a necessity, but it was my splurge! I am using boothBOOTH. They are a little more expensive ($1,500), but they are awesome. Their booths have a really contemporary look (not like a normal "booth", so I consider it part of the "decor" of my reception....plus thinking like that helps justify the cost...ha!Hope the opinions help!

We want to do one, so we're trying to work it into the budget. It's one thing that FI really wants and it's sort of a special meaning since our very first pictures together were in a photobooth and still hangs on our fridge.

I know my photographer sent an email in the spring that they were doing them. I saw some pics and they were fun! I think theirs is 600? I think? I don't understnad it but it's not an actual booth but you get a disk. The ones I saw they used picture frames in there as props. Very cute.

Some of the photographers in town add a "photobooth" add-on to your photography package. They're not always housed in a physical booth, sometimes it's just a camera set up in a corner with some other props/equipment. You'll get higher resolution pictures since they use pro equipment, and it costs less than an actual photo booth. Just a thought. We want to do a photobooth but it depends on how the budget cranks out. We've added a couple of items to the budget since the original plan (darn party bus!), so the photobooth may get cut.

We used Party Booth for our wedding and they were wonderful to work with!! I chose the option for them to print two pictures…but not provide a scrapbook. I provided my own book for the guests to sign and I had the pages with photo corner tabs so the guest just inserted the pictures…I had made a sign to hang on the photo booth and the attendant just had us give it to him and he attached it to the booth. They put the logo you provide on the pictures and let you chose the color of your booth background. Most everything was done via email and two phone calls. I used one of their Bridal show discounts and got the larger booth for six hours for the price of the smaller booth. Online viewing was available the Tuesdays after the wedding (3 days) and CD with all the pictures was received in 10 days.

CrombieFraye - I meant to ask you about the sign you made. We're looking into the same company that you used and I wanted to make a sign but didn't know what the dimensions were. Thanks!
