Thank you and do you tip?

I'm not sure who first told me about Becky Fowler way back when I first started posting on The Knot, but thank you to whoever you are.  I did my first fitting today and she is as awesome and sweet as everyone has said.  She made me feel like a princess!  I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking for alterations.  Also, are you supposed to tip your alterations person?  Her prices are so low compared to the bridal shop I just feel like I should give her a little extra....

    Honestly, I only tipped her like $7.  But it was because all I had done was cups sewn in and my bustle put it in...plus, I had like zero extra money.  Steve had been let go of his job for a month so we were scrimping and saving wherever we could.  If I could have tipped her more, I would have.

    I tipped her alot, but that was because she made my ENTIRE dress from scratch and became like a 2nd mother to me. She was amazing from day one and was so sweet about the situation I was in (I lost my mom a year before I got engaged). Not to mention she did such an amazing job on my gown for basically nothing. I heart Becky Fowler.

    You pay her when you pick up the dress and she only accepts cash.

    You are going to LOVE her Stephie!  She was so nice and kept telling me how beautiful I was....seriously, I floated out of there! Emi is right, you pay cash when you pick it up.  She is doing a 5 point French bussel, sewing in cups, taking up the hips of the dress and the bustier in the waist and she is only charging me $108 bucks! She is also going to do my moms alterations, my bm's alterations, and make me a garter out of my mom's veil!
