Hair Extensions

Anyone know of a place that specializes in hair extensions. I looking to have some done, but want a true expert for fear that it will look terrible. I am willing to pay $$$$$. Any suggestions welcome! TIA

Chappies has done them for years now. I got extensions about 3 1/2 years ago from them. I loved the way they looked. They lasted probably about 6 months. They were quite pricey- around $2000.

What I did was buy very good quality clip-in extensions online (proextensions.com) and had them shipped to me.  I took them to my regular hairdresser and she said they were no problem to use.  I go for my hair trial towards the end of Sept. and she is going to use them then.  That might be an option for you if you trust your regular hairdresser.  GL!

I HIGHLY suggest using clipins and not the ones that glue in.  The ones that glue in can really damage your hair.  And the clip-ins are reusable.  They're so easy you can do them yourself...so any stylist should be able to put them in your hair.

And I highly agree w/ Erin.  Use the clip-ins.  I didn't want them being glued to my head and risk damaging my hair.  Sewing them in was relatively the same situation.  The clip ins are great.  They can be colored, cut, and styled like normal hair.

I third buying clip-ins as opposed to the regular kind.  You dont' want to damage your hair.  Clip-ins are also cheaper.  Try Jessica Simpson/Ken Paves clip-ins.

I havent gotten them glued in before- dont do it. I did it one year for halloween and I pulled them out in 2 days. I had a friend in hair school put them in. I bought real human hair clip in at sally's and I love them. I put them in myself and go. It's the way to go. I have had my clip in for years now.Just get real human hair bc you can wash them, dry them, color them, curl them anything. Hope this helps!

Wow! sounds like clip ins are the way to go. I thought they would be a last resort...But I guess I will ask my stylist and try that. Much cheaper!
