Can I See Your Dress...

Hi Ladies!I have been dress shopping for awhile now and have found many dresses that I think are pretty and that I like, just not the one I imagine myself getting married in. I was hoping to take a look at "real brides" in their dresses. I am about 5'9 and size 12 (street). I love fit and flare. I also love a simple dress with a sweetheart neckline. After dress shopping, I am now just open to any dress ideas and need some inspiration!Thanks!

PIB under attire. Mine is a maggie sottero, sweetheart neckline, a-line, & chapel length train. Just a bit of detail on the bodice & that's it :-) Good luck finding your dress!

I haven't actually ordered my dress yet, but I'm pretty much your size and am going with Pronovias Harlem. Google images and pics of a few girls come up. Also check out ggmae and annaredhead's profiles. They also wore/are wearing Harlem and both look amazing. Ggmae wore Harlem already so she has lots of great pics of the dress in action. Harlem might not be as fit and flare as you're looking for, it's kind of A line with an asymetrical dropped waist I'd say - more fitted through one hip than the other, which I like. Also check out Watters. They have quite a few fit and flare styles that I LOVED, and www.netbride.com is a dealer and their prices are quite a bit cheaper than the boutiques I've been to. I got quotes for 2 Watters gowns that were originally $1,500 and $2,000. Netbride quoted me $950 and $1,400. Good luck in your dress search!(And I'm with you - "real brides" look so much better in the dresses than stuffy ol' models! The dresses always look so much better!)
