  • We didnt' get a flower for our officiant, so I don't know on that one.Father of the bride wears whatever the other parents and grandparents wear.

  • Thanks denieliza, i appreciate the help. Just didn't know if there was a general color officiants wear. My brother is marrying us so while he isn't technically in the bridal party, I still wanted to recognize him as such. So whether to use white or color was the issue, sarcasm much appreciated though.

  • gerbera daisies, not gerber. You're welcome.

  • Scratch that. Your officiant must wear a white flower and every other bridal party member must have red. Otherwise your wedding will be DOOMED.Better?

  • Sorry, I did mean gerbera! Oooops! other post, yes, much better:)

  • we are having the Gm and fathers in the same colour, white. Then FI will have red.
  • I think even though your brother is marrying you, he should have the same color flower as the rest of your family members (father, grandparents, whoever). The only place we're having white/ivory flowers is in my bouquet...the groom's bout is the same as the other guys', except it's wrapped with a different colored ribbon (that happens to be white)

  • Thanks P2.  That spelling error irks me more than pretty much all other errors combined.  If you like the flower enough to have it in your wedding, learn how to spell it.

  • Holy moly such anger over missing an A...wow. Get over it already. I vow to theknot goddesses to never accidently leave off the a in gerbera.
