BB&B Towels

Does anyone have the Wamsutta Hotel Bath Towels from BB&B? If so, are you happy with them? We received a set off of our registry, and everytime I use it, then go to put lotion on after my shower, I am covered in blue lint! The towels are very nice quality it seems, except for this. And I did wash them before use. Anyone else have this problem? I am ready to throw them out! Good thing we didn't receive other ones- I actually like my cheap towels I used in college better!

Return them.  As long as your registry was scanned, they'll refund you.

I have Wamsutta towels from there...I have two sets of black ones. But I don't let anyone use them (they're in the guest room!) I have dried my hands on them and had no problem. Maybe you got a defective one? I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm sure BBB will make it right for you if you bring them back. The cheapo line at BBB is just as good too if you want to make an exchange (IMO).

Yea the hand towel is fine, it's the bath towel that does it. I wasn't sure if I could return them w/ no receipt, plus after washing them. They were scanned on my registry....guess I'll wash them again, and return them!

Have you only washed them once? We received some very plush towels from Macys from our registry. We had the same problem after washing them the first time. I was covered in link after drying myself. We washed them a second time and now they are fine. I know they are different brands so I'm not sure if that will work for you, but its worth a try!

*that should say lint not link, of course :)

Lol, my brain automatically read "lint" anyway. :-) Thanks, I will do that! I have only washed them once....the towels are about due to be changed, so I will wash them again and see if they're any different. If not, back they go.

I would be careful drying them, keep checking the lint trap if need be just so you don't start a dryer fire.

Some of our new towels needed to be washed twice also.  The first time I used one, there was towel fuzz everywhere!  I looked like I had been snowed on.

Ditto washing them twice, maybe even 3-4 times. We got new towels when we moved to Pittsburgh that covered DF in white link for a few weeks! He looked like a little snowman. They are find now though! Soft plush towels out the dryer sound so nice right now....well really anything sounds better than work!!!

Oh good, I'm so glad I'm not the only this has happened to. I felt like such a dork for posting this at first! Yea, definitely want to avoid a dryer fire...esp. in our rather large apt. building!

When I was at BB&B working on the registry one day, the woman told me they'll take back almost anything--she was actually encouraging me to try out a pillow for a couple of weeks, because she said they'd take it back if I didn't like it.
