Invite with purple

Don't like it as much. It definitely breaks the "theme" of all the other stationary. But at least I know ;)

This is the original blue color which is the color on our STD's and photoshare cards and probably on our wedding website insert.

what matches your colors better? I think they're all nice. I like the purple a little better though but go with what works for you.

I tend to offer worthless/useless advice but I think I like the second blue one better out of all three. The brown that Stephie suggested might be a worth while.

Lol if my friend only knew why I was requesting these colors...here were exact words when I requested to see the purple lolAt my first mention of it she said:I'm hesitant to do purple because in everything else the wind has been used for, it's been blue. It goes back to what I've said before about color continuity throughout the whole wedding. I darkened the blue for you, but hopefully not enough to compete with the wording. Then I asked to see it for "sh!ts and giggles" and got this response(with the draft) hahaYou can see it in the purple with my honest very, very strong discouragement of it. :PTo me this looks more like ribbon instead of wind and it breaks the continuity of the rest of your stationery. To which I replied thanks for indulging me and her response(I also said I wasn't THAT artistically stupid in there):I KNOW that. But you just... make my artsy fartsy alarms go off sometimes with your sh!ts and giggles. :pLMAO!Thanks for all the opinions guys! I really appreciate them :D

I'm gonna say brown like stephie... The blue/purple is hard to do for fall unless you do really dark... like navy or royal purple.

Yahoo is blocked at work and from my phone, the invite was really small, therefore, I didn't reply earlier. I'm at home now, yay, anyhoo...I think Stephie is on to something with the brown. IMO, I didn't think of the wind as wind, I just thought it was a cool design. I think you should try it...just to see. You may even like it!

If you and David like the blue then leave blue. They are your invitations. :-D

Thanks for indulging us ;) I was imagining a richer/darker purple. Brown might be an interesting choice as well. But between that purple and the blues I would pick whichever blue you prefer. As Julie said, they're your invites :) pick what makes you happy!

I thought ribbon too but I wasn't sure if I was the only one.
