Cape Cod budget brides?

If you are willing do have your wedding at either end of the high season (June or September), the Surf & Sand Motel is a great waterfront spot for a ceremony.  They don't charge any fees (the only catch is they don't provide any chairs, so you need to pay the rental fees - which for 80 people shouldn't be too much.  We're having close to 200 and the chairs are only $350, which is significantly less than most venue's ceremony fee).  They don't normally have receptions at the hotel because it a smaller hotel with no common bathrooms/large kitchen, but with 80 people you may be able to do it there and rent a tent and bring in a caterer.  Sandy has been great to work with, extremely flexible.  They also own Skippy's Pier 1, which is on a marina in Yarmouth.  They are closing the restaurant for our reception, but I know they do have a minimum for receptions there, but it doesn't hurt to look. You can check out the website at www.surfandsandmotel.com, they have some pictures of the hotel/location.  It's waterfront with a large grassy lawn just before the dunes and a private beach, so you could either have the ceremony on the beach or up on the lawn.

I'm going to second roxyroaukie.  We are having our 10/10/09 wedding at the Falmouth Yacht Club.  You can't beat their prices or location, you can also use their private beach at no extra charge for your ceremony.  And Greg is super nice to deal with.  Good Luck!!  :]
