The Bell Centre

Has anyone been to or had their ceremony/reception at the Verdin Bell Clock Museum (The Bell Centre) downtown?  Pros/Cons, reviews would be great!

I have not been there yet, but I can say they are SUPER easy to work with. I had my final meeting with them last month and a tasting and it went wonderful. They are very well organized and responsive. I have not heard a single complaint when talking to guests of weddings or brides there. I do know they are great at telling you what works  and what typically doesnt work. One thing I have found that wasnt to my liking was the timeframe. I was told during booking it was 4 hours from the start of dinner, when its actually 4 hours from the time the first drink is served (meaning if you do cocktail hour outside your dinner and reception is only 3 hours long). We are adding time and they are meeting us in the middle since it was not a clear statement. Amy their event manager is a great resource. She has given me plenty of tips for timing and using the bell, including candle counts, how to deliver items to them to setup and what gets the most bang for your buck.Good luck!

I have. Friends of mine had there at home reception there. It's absolutely stunning! The food was amazing (they did the international stations, I think). The bar and bartenders were fantastic. The atmosphere was just so intimate and unique.  Parking was easy and close. Dance floor was great. Perfect for a formal, evening reception.

I had my ceremony and reception at the Bell Centre last October, and I was so thrilled with everything.  The setting is amazing, the food is fantastic, and the event planners (Kathy and Amy) are so wonderful to work with.  My guests all commented on what a beautiful place it was and were so impressed with the appetizers, service, and dinner.  I honestly cannot say enough good things about it.  Make sure you tell your photographer to take many pictures of the architecture, murals, etc.  There are plenty of wonderful spots to choose from.  The service was exceptional.  Amy keeps you on your timeline, but never rushes you.  It's such a beautiful setting.  Five stars!!

Amy, Kathy, Paul, and Kyle are the absolute BEST to work with! I have not had my wedding yet, but they are so efficient, and have actually kept ME on time! They are so good about scheduling, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful! i would highly recommend this venue to anyone! I have NO DOUBT that they will help carry out my wedding reception seamlessly! :)

The bell was my absolute top choice! When we looked into it it just wouldnt have made sense to have a wedding for only 120 guests there because the place is geared towards larger weddings and the mimimum was too high for only 120 guests. If you are having a larger wedding or have a large budget this place would be awesome! Best of luck.

I want to say its like $2000 to have the ceremony there? I can't remember exactly, but I think its somewhere in that ballpark. We opted NOT to do the ceremony there, but it is a gorgeous space! good luck!

If your having the reception there its additional 1250 for the ceremony. They count 750 for the ceremony and 500 to setup cocktail hour outside.
