Can I ask where you got your spanx?  I was going to wear blue cotton underwear, but lately I've been thinking that I really would like to have more control in the butt and leg region, especially since the top part of my gown is so tight with the corset.FI has been freaking out when I shop around in the underwear section.  He thinks it is ridiculous, that I don't need them, and that they are for old ladies.

    I ordered mine online from spanx.com, but you can also get them at some bridal shops in the area. I know One Enchanted Evening in Wexford has them, but I believe they mark the price up a bit.  Target has an off-brand that I also own. They aren't as comfy, but they are the same idea and are much cheaper.I originally got my spanx for a wedding I was in because I had to wear baby yellow and you could totally see underwear lines through the BM dress. I tried the spanx with my gown and they were SO comfy.  They were a little hot that day, but they stayed snug all night long. I also like that they kept me sucked in because I also had the corset style top!HTH :)

    Thanks, Jen!  I'll have to check it out.  I was looking at Target when FI had to leave the store because he thought it was so goofy. Haha.  He just doesn't get it. Thanks, Candice.  Maybe I'll stick with the regular undies, we'll see.

    i saw them being sold in a boutique at the southside works-the one with the vera bradley & brighton stuff (and the randomly offbeat cowboy items). but if you think you need them, then i am sh!t out of luck and should take out stock in them!

    Honestly, I wore mine out of comfort and convenience. I have no butt and regular underwear moves all over the place on me (TMI?)  so I needed something realllly tight. Spanx did the trick.
