Dating in the Dark?

Has anyone seen this horrible reality show?They go on "dates" in the dark, then at the end finally see each other "in the light" but only one at a time (a spotlight thing). Then they either meet up or leave.Watched it for the first time last night bc DH was curious. It makes me sad that tv people have to make up such weird circumstances.

    Dori, you watch the most random reality shows.  What was the one about the mom whose daughter is a hooker?  Or pretended to be one or something?

    I remember the previews for this, but I can't bring myself to watch it.  It just seems to awful.

    I only saw a clip on The Soup where all three girls ended up ditching that dude. And he was not that bad looking.  It confused me!

    Dori, I've seen the sex decoy one!  It is HORRIBLEEEE. And then on the Fox Reality tv network, they have 'Battle of the Bods' which is equally as bad!

    Yes, so many of these shows are just so, so awful. All the dating shows try to recreate the success of The Bachelor, the house shows try to recreate the success of The Real World, the family ones want to be like The Newlyweds or The Osbornes were, and all the other ones are weird and usually complicated.

    Oh and I have a sickness that I even watch them. I like to think of it as my continuing education in Psychology. ;-)

    Can you actually see the people or is the TV dark for you too?  LOL, I haven't seen any previews.

    I watched an episode of Dating in the Dark a few weeks ago.  Afterwards, I realized I'd never get that hour of my life back.

    YES, Candice...I felt the same way. I just have to tear myself away from the tv and start reading the pile of books I have next to my bed! :-)

    I'll try to read on the commercials so that part of the time is constructive!  I watch the weirdest stuff.  Last week was 100% shark week on discovery, and last night I watched an episode of Gangland that I tivo'd.

    Yeah, I think I watch some odd stuff, too. I love this one show, Royal Pains right now, where the guy is a concierge dr in the Hamptons. I think the lead guy is so cute. I remember him from that Caroline in the City show ages ago.

    I watched one of these episodes and also want that hour back. It was soooo odd. And creepy. And it should stop. My fave reality show ever is Run's House. Does anyone else watch it? I laugh hysterically every single time I watch an episode. It is on On Demand (MTV) for those who haven't seen it. BTW - Does anyone know if Hell's Kitchen is running on another night this week since the dumb Teen CHoice Awards took over its time slot last night?
