  • Some people take Internet strangers way too seriously. WAY too seriously.
  • I would think that if you are done with someone, that would mean acknowledging them regardless of what they say or do, not just that you think very little of them and want to remind them of that frequently.

  • I would think that if you are done with someone, that would mean NOT acknowledging them regardless of what they say or do, not just that you think very little of them and want to remind them of that frequently. I concur. Done is done.
  • You are right about that, for a while, I didn't participate or pay any attention to her posts.  It is hard to follow some posts if people are blocked because you don't see the whole conversation.  I am mostly going to go back and not pay attention to her.
  • Some people take Internet strangers way too seriously. WAY too seriouslyI concur.

  • PS:  Does this mean if I hadn't come back, "Making Pot Roast" would've been replaced with "Gotta go interview someone?"Because if so, that's freakin' hilarious.

  • I think something that can be universally understood is how wonderful Tim Gunn is.

  • Georgia, it isn't always strangers, it is the topic.  If I never met someone and really disagree with their opinion, it doesn't matter if we have met or not.  It bothers me that there are people in the world who sympathize with Nazis.
  • I do not sympathize with the nazis.

  • Oh wait.  I have german friends.Oh well.  So much for that theory.

  • Burr, love!

  • E, what exactly did moose say that was so bad that you are "done with her"?  Is it possible you misinterpreted what she said 6 months ago?  Seriously, I don't think moose sympathizes with Nazis.
  • <3 ricks. I don't think anybody is understanding what I'm trying to say though.
  • I get what you are trying to say and it's funneh.

  • Because if you lack sympathy, you're no better than he is.  I understand the gravity of what he participated in. I do not deny that it happened. I would never say it was a good thing. It was one of the greatest tragedies in modern times, hell, in forever and it sickens me that men can and will do that to each other. He is not a good man. I know he'll face his judgment in the afterlife. Heck, if you believe in Karma, he could already be facing it in the form of whatever illness he has.The thing that separates me from someone like him is the ability to have sympathy for others. The moment I lose that, I become no better than someone like him. It becomes easy to justify committing such crimes when you lack sympathy and compassion for your fellow man.  These are wading's comments, where she sympathized with a Nazi.  Saying she doesn't sympathize with a Nazi makes her a Nazi sympathizer and a liar.
  • I don't get it :(  My honors classes have gotten me far in life, I see.  Wait, wrong thread ;)

  • I think she's trying to tell me I want to eat a weiner dog.But I could be wrong.

  • The most delicious kind of weiner.
  • coco, save yourself and stay out of it, please?

  • I don't understand how being done with someone=coming into a thread by said person and telling them how much they suck. That came off sounding biitchy, but I honestly don't get that.

  • E, I don't know what the context was, but I don't think she meant it the way you took it.  However, I do believe that no matter how old the man is, he should be punished for his crimes.  Just because he's old doesn't mean he should get a free pass.
  • She did mean it the way I took it because she argued her point in that thread.  If she meant it another way, she would have said it then.
  • Sorry, wading.  I guess I shouldn't stick up for people anymore.
  • In this case, it isn't worth it.  Thanks for the effort, but you're really better off avoiding the discussion.

  • I just think it's important to point out that having sympathy for a person and sympathizing with their cause are not necessarily the same thing. If some racist jack@ss gets curb stomped I'm gonna have some sympathy, cuz that is a terrible thing to happen to anybody, but I certainly don't agree with his racist jack@ssery. I understand that plenty of people feel differently and would probably think he deserved it.

  • Seriously, who is swedish chick?  I do not remember her at all.
