Tell me about your high school extracurricular activities. Me: Student council freshman year. Had a baby sophomore year. International Club, Student council and Vice President of National Honor Society senior year. But I got kicked out of student council for being late to every eeting which was right after school.

Basketball three years, volleyball two years, intramural volleyball two years (I was on a team with all faculty members who played in college and they took it VERY seriously), other than that, I worked (always had a job unless it was a sports season), and hung out with my boyfriends and best friends.

We represented about half of the All-County choir, and sent more people to all-state/all-eastern than any other school. Was National Honor Society anything major at anyone's HS? I'm geniunely curious. At my high school it was just about getting a second picture taken for your senior pics with a white cap on. I don't remember anyone who wasn't in NHS, maybe our standards were lower.

At our school National Honor society was pretty much the only recognition you got for getting good grades. It was also the only thing we had to make you look good for colleges (very few ap courses/honor courses or anything like that). We did a lot of community service and had weekly meetings. Twice a year we had a huge school ceremony where we would induct the new members by tapping and candles and all that fun stuff. Only 5 people could be added each ceremony so it was a special thing.

I was in- Jewish Culture Club JSA, we did joint things with other schools Student Council and some others that would out where I went. I mostly participated in the getting home and showering in time to make it from the party to first period and how to wear your uniform club.

Oh, we did tours in Italy and the UK also, but the Wales one was for an actual competition. I think they also sang at Carnegie Hall last year or two years ago

Our National Honor Society was pretty limited, but I can't remember the details. I have a horrible long term memory and it was a long time ago. I got to wear a secial sash for being an officer.

CONFESSION: When we did highway cleanup for NHS, when you came back with a full bag, you got to go home. We'd go to the local park and swap out their trash bags with ours. Wrong, I know, but we were usually hungover on Saturday mornings.
