Wildflowers

Hi, I want to do wildflowers for my wedding. I was wondering if anyone has done that - have you actually used a florist or collected them or have people raid their gardens? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! p.s. getting married sept 12, 2009

    My SIL did it and used a florist. She was concerned if people's gardens didn't produce well, a bad rain damaging everything the days before the wedding etc.

    I was at the Windmill last year around September and someone had a stand selling cut flowers- sunflowers and other garden flowers- don't know if they're there this year, but you could check, and possibly arrange something with them- Also, Cdga. Wegmans?

    Also, check out your local farmer's market - they have great flowers at hte Syracuse market.  Perhaps you could strike up a deal with the vendor to arrange for you.
