    Oh, thanks!  I think it went really well, especially for a first time!  I went with one of my bridesmaids who just got married this year and is both knowledgable and still "into" weddings :)  My consultant was AWESOME.  I gave her really specific guidelines of what I thought I wanted and she pulled like 10 dresses that fit them exactly, as well as an assortment of others so I could at least try on other types.It was no-pictures-allowed, but I found two of the dresses I liked the most online.  Let me try my first picture posts here...

    Wow, it worked!  This was my favorite one that I tried on, but the color of mine was champagne/light gold.

    This was the other one I really liked- again, in a much darker ivory.  You can't see the lace very well here, but it is this really texturized alencon lace that I loved!

    Thanks!  Yeah, I do really like the champagne color.  I am VERY fair, and white just does not look good on me!

    Both of those are gorgeous! I went with the traditional white, but I think the light gold/champagne is lovely as well. Just depends on what works for you!

    Thanks all!  I love the first one the most too :)  I didn't expect to like something with even that much pouf on the bottom, but it made it seem more fancy or dressy to me.Sonya, just looked at your dress in your bio and I love it!  I think the color is SO pretty.
