I am super excited but yet kinda nervous!!! I found 2 townhouses I really liked the pics and they are a bit pricey(for townhouses) but the pics looked SUPER nice!!! So we shall see!!! I cant wait to get out of the 'apt' living and be abke to do what I want with my place!!!

Yay happy hunting! :) Not to sound like a know-it-all (since I'm not) but just remember to be open-minded and don't overextend yourself when it comes to price :)

Thanks girls!!! I am leaving the 'price' part up to  FI I would prob go for something just by loving the look of it and not even considering the price. haha.

Good luck! That is so exciting! I can't wait to buy our first home, but living in DC makes that impossible right now. I miss Pittsburgh prices!

Have fun looking and GL! I know what you mean about wanting to do whatever with your home, instead of having to abide by apt. rules. I am already sick of it, and we've only lived in our apt. for a little over a year! As Jen said, I don't know if we'll ever be able to buy a house here, and if so, it won't be for a looonng time.

I was just going to ask what part of town are you looking in.  I've been happy with my townhouse plan and there are several for sale.

I have a friend who owns one up on the hill by the FedEx offices off of Montour Run Road and it's SO nice.  But I know it was pricy.  I wish I could have lived there. We're in Carnegie now, it's about 10 minutes from Robinson.

That's cool!  We are looking for a house in the same general area.  It will be nice to be further out of the city-ish area to have more trees and fresh air.  Let us know how it goes, I hope you find something you love!
