E-pics site

I really need to get my e-pics done soon.Which place- in your opinion- would be a better backdrop for these type of pics.and old farm or downtown?I work downtown and love it, but the farm is my background(know my last name? buy some milk lol).I've seen great shots at both, any thoughts?

Depends on you and FI together.  Are you (together) more nature/farm people, or are you more city people?  I'd do the setting that speaks more to you as a couple.  I don't think we can tell you which to choose.

Yep, they would both be great!  You could also do city pictures and then go to Schneley Park and get more nature-like pictures.

I guess I'm just wondering what everyone thinks would have cooler pictures. We're both I'd say.  I used to be more of a 'farm person' as you say- but now I work in the city. And he was never either- city nor farm. I though I could get some honest opinions, but I'll just have to talk to a photographer about it.

I think a farm would have way cooler pictures. You see so many epics sessions in Downtown Pittsburgh with The Point, the bridges, the skyline. It all starts looking the same after a while.

Where are you doing your wedding pics? Since my wedding pics were being taken in a park...I did pics in and around the city to make them a lot different!

Thanks guys! Thats a good point fightmaster- I'm pretty sure we're not going anywhere for our wedding pics. Jut the church and then to the recpetion. I'm not sure if we'll have time for much else. I was thinking maybe TTD pics in the old barn... I dunno. I saw pics once where the couple was really dressed up- suit and tie, and cocktail dress- in a barn. It sounds weird but it was so awesome. Thats what got me thinking of dong the barn thing at all...

Sara, I do buy your milk!! :)I personally love the idea of the pics on the farm. And I think your idea of formalwear in the barn and the fields would be great. Is there any way that you can go to both locations and have photos done?

I'm all into farms (see my recent obsession with farmville on FB - haha)But I agree with pps, it will be more unique and more 'you' I think.. if that makes sense?

thanks!  I'll email her now. And thanks! I like the barn idea- I'm just afraid that people will see the barn pics and think its a casual barn wedding- like Sonya's- which isn't bad, but we're having more of a formal wedding.  you know?  do you think people will think that?

I like the barn setting as well. Is it the e-pics in the barn that you think would make people think your wedding is less formal? I don't think your guests will think that. E-pics are just fun pictures, I don't think they are any indication as to the formality of your wedding. I think STDs and invitations convey more about formality, theme, etc. Just my 2 cents- HTH!
