What to do with Shoes after wedding?

Hi all, I've read/seen that some brides have their shoes signed, or they write the date on the bottoms of them.  This is cute, but then I started wondering what I would "do" with the shoes after the wedding.  Do they get preserved somehow with the dress?  Packrat tendencies run through my veins-- so it's easy for me to justify saving "sentimental" stuff.  I just wonder if I'd be better off trying to resell the shoes instead of saving them.  What are your plans?  What have other brides done?

    My mom cleaned mine and they are currently in the box I bought them in sitting on top of my dresser. i might try to wear them again. i haven't decided what to do with them yet.

    Mine got a bit dirty throughout the day, so I wouldn't be able to sell them. I'm going to dye mine black. They were heels so I should be able to find somewhere to wear them again.

    I'm will be wearing mine.  I bought two different pairs....one for the wedding and one for the reception.  Both of them I will be able to wear again!!!! but thats just me...

    I haven't gotten my shoes yet, but when I do I am going to search for a pair that I can wear over again.

    I am going to either keep mine dyed the navy blue that they are currently or have them dyed black or espresso after the wedding.  The place I got them does the black/espresso dye for free.  I made sure to buy a pair of shoes that I could continue to wear after the wedding.  They are really cute w/ jeans and a nice shirt.  :)
